One of the fun things about skinny tires, is that the narrower they are, the more progressive slip is. The 155s on my SAAB will slide gently before letting go. You might have less grip than with wide tires, but they also give you a lot of warning before letting go.

I like his idea. But it’s similar to driving on worn out tyres. On the street, fun isn’t better , fun gets you arrested and killed. You shouldn’t do skids on the road and you need to be able to stop.
